Clean Code Meetup explained

Hey, my name is Nik. I work at George, digital banking of Erste Group. During the last couple of years, I managed to build a small community of web developers interested in software craftsmanship.

Every month (sometimes less often) we get together at the Clean Code Meetup β€” see video above
↑

It's an online event for:

  • Senior JavaScript/Typescript engineers;
  • Working on enterprise projects built with React.
Concepts we explore and learn (software design patterns, code smells, SOLID principles, etc.) are useful when working on a large codebase that strives for quality and scale in a long run.

Our meetup and the community help connect like-minded developers, learn, grow together, and build software of higher value πŸš€ πŸ‘

If you want to join, please subscribe to our community by filling in the form below.
Getting better at writing clean, maintainable code β€” guaranteed.

Better Engineering

A community by developers, for developers, curated by Nik.

I announce all upcoming Clean code meetups in advance. Plus, always send takeaways from the previous meetup.
Max one email per month. Easy to unsubscribe. No spam, ever.

About Nik Sumeiko

React/Typescript engineer. Payments hacker.

For the last 15 years, I’ve been working both on startup ideas with a lot of ambiguity, and on enterprise projects with high expectations towards software quality. I consider this a great, diverse experience.

I like to work with people, review code, mentor, and train engineers in favor together we ship reliable software. The software that solves people’s problems and enriches their lives. And, hopefully, the software that enables people to change the world for the better.

I’m passionate about software craftsmanship. Clean code, TDD, Refactoring.

Current project: George, digital banking of Erste Group.
Before: Airbus, IDEO, Sony
